In Their Words
"I prayed to God every night to help me find a place for me and my children so we could sleep in peace. When I was accepted at Brevard Rescue Mission I cried with joy. I am finally learning to depend on myself."

– A Successful Resident
Julia's House

I am very pleased to announce that Brevard Rescue Mission has just acquired a 5 bedroom home in Rockledge that will enable us to serve more women and children in need. First, I'd like to express my gratitude to you, as this would not have been possible without the strong financial support of our donors, the time and talent so generously given by our volunteers, and the solid foundation of service mastered by our staff at Casa Carol. God has blessed us so richly and we feel privileged to respond with this step forward.

Though this house is in good structural condition, there will be many opportunities to improve the aesthetics, comfort and efficiency of this home. Volunteer Coordinator Wendy Scannell will soon be issuing requests for assistance on many fronts and we will keep you posted on our progress. For now, I ask you to pray for our wisdom, our new neighbors, the staff, our volunteers and for the women and children that God will bring to our door.

Lastly, in honor of the young mom that I met in 2006 who planted the seed for Brevard Rescue Mission and later reached out in support of the mission, we are fondly naming our new home "Julia's House"!

With Deepest Gratitude,
Stacia
