  • 2 screen entry doors
  • VHS/DVD combination player ( 5 needed) (can be used)
  • Medium Size Televisions (19-25" screens, flat preferred) (Can be used)
  • Combination bike locks
  • First aid kits for each apartment
  • Tylenol (adult and children's), Advil, Midol
  • Bicycle tire pump (can be used)
  • Bicycle child carrier (can be used)
  • Bicycle pull-behind child carrier (can be used)
  • Dressers and Mattresses for Future Units
  • Sponsor Furnishing for Future Units ($2500 per unit)
  • Office Supplies (or Gift Cards)
  • Target or Walmart gift cards for miscellaneous supplies
  • Week of child care ($85)
  • Monthly Bus passes (SCAT) ($35 each)

Immediate Volunteers Needed

  • CHILDCARE on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings during on-site classes for resident moms. Would like to create VBS-type experience for Tuesday night Kids Club. Volunteers can be on weekly, biweekly or monthly schedule.
  • WRITER needed to create copy for monthly e-newsletter from stories gathered through staff blogging.
  • Volunteer training is required for all volunteers working with clients. Training classes are held at least 4 times annually. We also offer a training DVD for volunteers who wish to begin changing lives ASAP!
